Terms of service.
Version 27 October 2026
1 Scope of these Terms
These Terms address access to aleyaharris.com, its general educational content and free resources, and the free The Stage Finder plugin made available under the Aleya Harris brand. In these Terms, those offerings are the Services. We, us and our refer to The Evolution Collective Inc., the business providing these Services under the Aleya Harris brand. You refers to the person using the Services or the organization that person is authorized to represent.
The Services provide educational information, speaking-opportunity research assistance and pitch-drafting support. They are not a promise of representation, placement, a speaking engagement or income. These Terms do not replace a separately agreed contract for a paid program or service. The Privacy Policy explains information handling and is not a request for marketing consent.
2 Access and authority
Use the Services only if you can lawfully do so and can enter an agreement applicable to your use. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Access to The Stage Finder also depends on the requirements of the OpenAI product, account or workspace in which you use it, including that platform's age and permission requirements.
Keep control of your own platform account and follow the platform's access rules. We do not need your password, payment-card information or government identification to help you draft a speaking pitch. Do not provide those details in the plugin conversation.
3 What The Stage Finder does
The Stage Finder supplies instructions and a reference framework that guide an AI assistant in your OpenAI host. It can help clarify your speaking topic, audience, goals, preferred locations, relevant experience and supporting materials, research suitable opportunities when the host has current web tools, and draft pitches and related planning materials.
The free plugin is a skills-only package. It does not include its own live event database, search API, publisher-operated server, email sender, booking system, submission service or checkout. Its performance depends on the host's capabilities, available tools, permissions, source access and your instructions. When current research cannot be performed, suggestions should be treated as research starting points rather than verified open opportunities.
The research target is up to 15 verified opportunities, not a guaranteed minimum. The actual number depends on current openings, the information available and your criteria. There is no guaranteed completion time, response rate, booking, compensation or business result. An upcoming event or an older call for speakers does not establish that applications are currently open.
4 Review before you rely on an answer
AI-generated material can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable even when it sounds confident or includes a citation. Independently check the organizer's current official materials for dates, deadlines, time zones, eligibility, format, contact route, compensation, submission requirements and any applicable costs before acting. A reference to an event, organizer or website is not an endorsement or confirmation of a relationship with us.
Review and edit every pitch before using it. Confirm that your biography, credentials, client references, experience, results and claims are accurate and that you have permission to use supporting materials. The Services do not provide individualized legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. Obtain appropriate professional advice when a decision calls for it.
5 You remain in control of outreach
Generating a pitch is not sending it. The plugin does not automatically email organizers, submit applications, schedule follow-ups, make reservations, enroll you in a paid service or make purchases. You decide whether, how and to whom to send a draft and are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of that communication.
If you separately use a host tool or third-party service to take an action, that action requires the relevant permissions and is subject to that service's terms. Follow an organizer's published submission process, respect contact preferences and do not use the Services for spam, deception or unsolicited bulk messaging.
6 Information and materials you provide
You retain any rights you hold in information and materials you supply. Provide only content you are authorized to use for the requested purpose. Remove unnecessary personal information, confidential client records and sensitive details from a biography, media kit, testimonial or other material before sharing it.
When you send material directly to us for a specific request, you authorize us to use it only as reasonably needed to address that request and as otherwise permitted by applicable law or a separate agreement. These Terms do not grant us a general right to publish your submissions, use your name or likeness in advertising, or turn your feedback into a testimonial. A plugin conversation is processed in its host environment as explained in the Privacy Policy and the host's terms.
7 Your use of drafts and our materials
You may use, edit and send the pitches, opportunity lists and other working outputs generated for you for your own speaking activities and business. We do not claim exclusive ownership of AI-generated output. Output may resemble content generated for others, may contain third-party material and may not qualify for intellectual-property protection. Your use remains subject to applicable law, third-party rights and the terms of the host that generated it.
The website's original content, branding, instructional materials and other protected materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may access and use materials made available through the Services for their intended purpose. That permission does not authorize copying or distributing a complete book, proprietary source document, paid course or other protected material that has not been licensed for redistribution. The public plugin does not supply the full book or proprietary source guide.
Do not remove ownership notices, falsely claim authorship of our protected materials, sell or republish those materials as your own, or imply that we or an event organizer endorse you. Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law, a separate written license or the terms of a lawfully available open-source component.
8 Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to violate the law or another person's rights, impersonate someone, fabricate credentials or endorsements, harass others, distribute malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information. Do not disrupt the Services or bypass access restrictions. Respect the privacy and intellectual-property rights of speakers, clients, organizers and other people whose information you use.
The availability of information on a public website does not by itself authorize every use of that information. Use published contact details appropriately and do not ask the plugin to invent a private email address, a relationship with an organizer or a result you have not achieved.
9 Platforms links and paid services
OpenAI operates the host platform separately from the publisher of The Stage Finder. The host's terms, policies, controls and availability apply to your use of that platform. These Terms do not modify your agreement with OpenAI or authorize us to control your platform account, data settings or workspace.
The Services may link to independent websites or to separately offered Aleya Harris programs and services. Spark the Pitch is one optional paid offering, described at https://www.aleyaharris.com/spark-pitch. Other linked offers may have their own terms. Purchasing one of our paid services is not required to use the free Stage Finder discovery, research and pitch-drafting workflow.
Review the current description and any separate agreement before purchasing a paid service. These Terms do not set prices, create a subscription, authorize charges, promise deliverables for a paid engagement or change existing paid-service cancellation or refund terms. Third-party websites and organizers control their own content, processes and decisions.
10 Availability and appropriate limitations
We aim to make the Services useful, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete coverage of opportunities or error-free content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free Services are provided as available, without a guarantee that they will meet a particular business objective. They may be updated, corrected, interrupted or discontinued.
We may restrict access to Services we control when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or a material violation of these Terms. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to raise a concern. We do not control OpenAI's access decisions. You may stop using the free Services at any time.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. No provision requires you to give up nonwaivable consumer protections.
11 Changes and interpretation
If we revise these Terms, the published version will show its effective date. We will provide additional notice or request agreement where required by law. Changes will operate prospectively and will not retroactively alter a separately agreed paid contract or remove rights that have already arisen.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be applied only to the extent lawfully permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where they can operate independently. A decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it on another. These Terms address only the Services within their stated scope and do not supersede a separate written agreement about another offering.
12 Questions and concerns
For questions about these Terms, content concerns or help with the Services, email spark@aleyaharris.com or call 818.538.8978. Include the relevant page or output and a short description of the concern. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
