Privacy policy.

Version 27 October 2026

1 Scope and contact

This policy explains information handling in connection with aleyaharris.com, its resource forms and communications, and the free The Stage Finder plugin. We, us and our refer to The Evolution Collective Inc., the business responsible for the information handling described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at spark@aleyaharris.com or 818.538.8978.

There is an important distinction between information you submit to the website or send directly to us and information you enter in an OpenAI-hosted conversation. The website uses service providers, including Squarespace for hosting and Kit for the Stage Finder form and email communications. The plugin operates within your OpenAI host and does not have a publisher-operated backend that automatically receives your conversation.

This policy does not replace OpenAI's notices or the policies of independent websites you visit. If a separate service has an additional privacy notice, read it for the processing specific to that service. A separate commercial agreement does not, by itself, replace privacy notices that applicable law requires.

2 Information you give us directly

Website forms. The Stage Finder resource form collects an email address, first name, last name and phone number. The current form requires email address, first name and phone number; last name is optional. The submitted information is routed through Kit. The information you choose to put into a form or send in a message is available to us for handling that request. Please provide only information that is relevant and that you are authorized to share.

Support and correspondence. If you email, call or otherwise contact us, we receive the contact details you provide and the content of your communication. This may include professional information, links, attachments, feedback or details of a problem. If you voluntarily send a conversation excerpt, screenshot, share link or generated pitch, that material becomes information received by us even though the plugin did not transmit it automatically.

Preferences and requests. Communications with us can include your email preferences, unsubscribe request, privacy request and information reasonably needed to understand and address that request. Do not send a password, payment-card number, government identifier, health record or confidential client file in a resource request or support message.

3 Website and email activity information

Website hosting. Squarespace receives technical information needed to deliver the website, including information about the browser, device and network, the page that referred the visit, and the IP address. This processing supports operation and delivery of the site. Squarespace describes its handling of website-visitor information in its privacy materials at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

Email engagement. Kit open and click tracking are enabled for our email account. Tracking can record that an email was opened or a link was clicked and associate that activity with the recipient and message. We use this information to understand engagement with our communications. Email applications and privacy features can affect the accuracy of those signals.

Cookies and similar technologies. The website's hosting and embedded services can use cookies or similar technologies for their functions. Browser settings can help you review, block or remove cookies, although doing so may affect some website features. Blocking browser cookies does not necessarily prevent email tracking or every type of third-party processing.

4 How direct information is used

We use information you submit to provide or respond to the resource, inquiry or support request you make, communicate with you about that request, and manage your stated preferences. Email addresses are used to deliver email communications, and names can be used to address and personalize them. Providing a phone number does not, by itself, amount to consent to marketing calls or text messages.

For marketing communications, the applicable permission and notice must be separate from merely reading this policy or accepting website Terms. When we send marketing email, you can ask us to stop as described below. Engagement information helps us assess whether those communications are being opened and which links attract interest.

Information may also be used as reasonably necessary to protect the Services, investigate misuse, address a complaint, respond to a lawful request, comply with a legal obligation or establish or defend legal rights. These uses do not authorize unrelated use of sensitive information or a new marketing purpose without the notice or permission required by law.

5 Information in a Stage Finder conversation

The Stage Finder may ask about your speaking topic, ideal audience, goals, professional experience, fee preferences, location or travel preferences, website, biography, speaker reel or media kit. These details help the host tailor research and draft a pitch. You can avoid unnecessary personal detail and use a public professional link or a redacted summary rather than uploading an entire private document.

The distributed plugin supplies instructions, a reference framework and assets. It has no publisher-operated server, API, MCP connection, action endpoint, conversation database or telemetry integration. Using this package does not automatically send your chat to Aleya Harris through a publisher backend, add you to Kit, submit a website form or enroll you in a paid service.

That architecture does not mean no processing occurs or that no one can ever see a conversation. OpenAI processes information in its host environment. Available web or connected tools may process information under their own conditions when used. Account or workspace administrators, people with whom you share content and support recipients may have access depending on the situation. We receive conversation material if you choose to send or share it directly with us.

OpenAI's applicable privacy policy, customer agreement and account or workspace settings govern its handling of prompts, files and outputs. Available training, history, sharing, export and deletion controls depend on the product, plan and workspace. Review https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/ and https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7730893-data-controls-in-chatgpt for the relevant policies and controls. We cannot change those settings for you or promise a particular OpenAI retention period.

6 Who receives information

Service providers. Squarespace processes website-hosting information, and Kit processes Stage Finder form submissions and email subscriber and engagement information in connection with the services it provides. Kit's handling of creator newsletter subscriber data is addressed by its Data Processing Addendum at https://kit.com/dpa. Kit's general privacy policy addresses other interactions with Kit and is not a substitute for the subscriber-processing terms.

People handling your request. Information you send directly to us may be accessed by the people authorized to respond to you or administer the relevant service. We limit access and disclosures to what is appropriate for that purpose. Where a separate service or interaction includes an additional privacy notice, that notice describes its specific processing.

Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary and legally permitted to investigate fraud or misuse, protect people's safety or establish or defend legal rights. Where you direct us to share particular information, we may do so within the scope of your direction.

Event organizers. The free plugin does not automatically send your profile, media kit or pitch to an organizer. If you send an application or use a separately authorized tool to do so, the recipient receives what you share and applies its own practices. Review the recipient's privacy notice before including personal information.

7 Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only for the period reasonably needed for the stated purpose, including handling the request, maintaining necessary preference records, meeting legal obligations and resolving a dispute. Relevant factors include the type and sensitivity of the information, the interaction with you, whether it is still needed and any applicable legal requirement.

An unsubscribe request stops marketing use through the relevant channel, but does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record. A limited suppression record may be needed to avoid contacting you again. Information subject to a lawful preservation requirement may need to be retained for that requirement. Removing information from an active list does not necessarily remove every copy held by a service provider or in a backup. A deletion request is handled separately from an unsubscribe request and remains subject to applicable legal requirements.

OpenAI controls retention within its platform under the applicable terms and settings. Removing or disabling The Stage Finder does not by itself delete host conversations, files or memory, or information you previously sent to us. Use the relevant platform controls or contact the holder of the information to request deletion.

8 Your choices and privacy requests

Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or contact spark@aleyaharris.com to ask us to stop marketing email. We may still need to respond to a request you make or send a nonmarketing communication about an existing service. An email unsubscribe does not change your OpenAI settings, and a host setting does not unsubscribe you from a website mailing list.

Direct requests. Contact spark@aleyaharris.com or call 818.538.8978 to ask about information you have provided to us, correct it, request access or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Explain the request and the email address or interaction to which it relates. Do not send identification documents or sensitive account details unless a secure and necessary verification process is arranged.

Depending on where you live, the law that applies and whether the business is subject to it, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain disclosures or targeted advertising, or appeal a denied request. These rights can be subject to exceptions and verification requirements. We will address requests under the law that applies and will not retaliate for exercising a protected right.

If authorized agents may act for you under applicable law, we may need evidence of their authority and appropriate confirmation of your identity. Where the law provides an appeal or complaint right, you may ask us to review our response or contact the relevant regulator. For information held by OpenAI, begin with its privacy controls or the administrator of your workspace rather than assuming the plugin publisher can access or delete it.

9 Security and careful sharing

Protecting information calls for safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity and the services used. No website, email channel or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Share only what is needed, check the audience for a media-kit or conversation link, and avoid posting confidential material to a public location merely to use the plugin.

If you believe information was sent to the wrong person or a link unintentionally exposes personal information, contact us promptly at spark@aleyaharris.com and use the relevant platform's controls to restrict the link or account. We will review concerns about information within our control.

10 Children

The Stage Finder's subject matter is professional speaking and business outreach, rather than children's activities. Follow the host's age requirements. If you believe a child has supplied personal information directly to us inappropriately, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action under applicable law.

11 Other websites and services

Links may take you to an event organizer, social platform, OpenAI, or a separately offered service. Their privacy practices and any applicable additional notices govern their own processing. This policy does not promise that all providers store information in the same country or apply identical controls.

12 Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the published version will show the applicable effective date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent for a new use when required by law. A revised policy does not replace a choice or consent that the law requires us to obtain.
